A major advantage of Hydrogel is that it is fully interchangeable with water, allowing easy integration into existing firefighting infrastructure without major modifications. Unlike water alone, Hydrogel provides rapid cooling, flame suppression, thermal isolation, and helps prevent re-ignition.
Because Hydrogel remains attached to hot surfaces longer, significantly less extinguishing agent is required compared to water alone. This not only improves firefighting efficiency, but also reduces contaminated runoff water and minimizes environmental pollution.
