The vast majority of beginning fires are extinguished with hand held fire extinguishers. Hydrogel is suitable for a wide range of fire types: solids, fats and lithium ion battery fires.
For Hydrogel hand held fire extinguishers we refer to our brand ASAPs.

- Zero PFAS
- According to the most stringent European chemical laws, Hydrogel is classified to be not hazardous for humans and environment
- Consists for more than 99% of nature derived components
- After end-of life the extinguishers can be resturned to Anogas without costs tob e fully recycled. This makes the ASAPs extinguishers the only fully circular extinguishers in the world.
ASAPs “As Safe As Possible”
- No toxic gasses are released during fire extinguishing due to use of the agent
- According to the most stringent European chemical laws, Hydrogel is classified to be not hazardous for humans and environment
- Although the Hydrogel consists of more than 95% of water, the ASAPs extinguishers v=can be safely applied on electrical charged equipment (upto 1000 Volt from 1 meter distance).
- ASAPs fire extinguishers have a worp length of 2 to 4 meter, so the operator can keep a safe distance from the fire
ASAPs “As Solid As Possible”
- The ASAPs fire extinguisher consists of a robust metal cylinder which is internally fully coated with a plastic layer and with an external screw thread.
- The handle provides a good control of the hose
- The nozzle assures the proper spay shape while maintaining sufficient spraying power
- The manometer can be checked on proper operation without need for dismantling

NTA 8133
ASAP’s 6 and 9 liter extinguishers have successfully passed the NTA 8133 test: in just two consecutive attempts, three pouch cells were saved from Thermal Runaway each time. The flames were quickly extinguished, and the Hydrogel provided more than sufficient cooling to bring the ignited pouch cells back to a safe temperature.
